An apprentice during the 1970's at the famous firm of J.W. Walker & Son in Suffolk where strict quality disciplines were the order of the day. During his time there, his experiences covered all aspects of organ building, from small mechanical action organs to large electro-pneumatic organs in some of England's finest cathedrals.
At other times he had been a tuning representative for Hill Norman and Beard, the General Manager of Peter Collins Ltd. and has assisted many major companies. He has over 40 years experience in the organ trade. He is also a Fellow of The Incorporated Society of Organ Builders.
He founded Pipe Organ Services in 2001.
William has been with the company for over 10 years and has become well know to all our clients. He undertakes a large number of the tunings that we look after. He has been in organ building for some 30 years and has a wealth of experience in the trade.
Son of Alan, George joined pipe organ services in 2014 and has assisted in the daily workings of the business. He has worked on many aspects of various major projects such as New Malden Methodist and Peterborough St John.
A new member of our team, Phyllis assists with on-site and workshop work from time to time.
